Even though it snowed yesterday, which by the way kinda came out of no-where, today the sun is out and it is bright! Its amazing the feeling you get from just soaking up a few rays. For me, sunshine is an instant smile! It is the earth's way of giving everyone a hug. Plants and flowers can grow and be beautiful. People can go for walks and exercise in the park. No one likes to feel cold. The sunshine provides the warmth that makes us feel good.
As I type this, my cat, Angel, is stretched out of the floor soaking up the rays. Life is tough for her. Her fur is so soft and warm as the sun light hugs her. I swear I can see her smiling. I whistle at her and she looks over at me and gives me that look that says "Ahhh, sunshine!".
The best part about the sunshine right now is that it is melting the snow! It is warming the planet and letting us know that spring is on its way. Mother nature is saying Patience people- here is a sample of what is in store.
