It is funny how when you think back to when you were a kid and the TV shows you would watch bring back so many memories. Just yesterday my husband and I were talking about the shows we enjoyed as kids. Gotta love Youtube!

Those were among my favorites when I was about 5 years old.
My husband and I agree that we would love for our kid to become acquainted with the oldies....aka those listed above. Those were the good ones. The kid shows nowadays seem to have lost that special 'spark'. They just aren't as good as the ones WE grew up on. Perhaps it is because the ones being produced nowadays, such as In the Night Garden, Teletubbies or Bubble Guppies, in my opinion lack quality. Where are the story lines? Where are the lessons? Those lessons they were trying to teach us without us really knowing we were being taught about manners or sharing for example.
Anyone agree?
