I love it not always for the sun tanning [cause I can't tan], but rather for the peace it offers. I love going to the beach after dinner with my husband [insert corny romance music here] to take a nice walk on the sand, holding hands. It is a place we go to recharge our batteries after a couple of long weeks of work. We take our afternoon off and head to the beach where we walk or we sit and just look out at the ocean. I close my eyes, listen to the waves crashing down and pulling the stones back. People pay money for those sounds!
Going to the beach is my favourite place to go. [right next to going to an amazing bookstore of course] - the beach offers serenity. Imagine the fresh salt air blowing softly in your face as the sound of the waves calms your nerves. For me, thats heaven on earth.
