Swollen much?

I've got about 3 months (give or take) left of my pregnancy. Being pregnant really has changed me....in every sense of the word. Physically, I am tired - all the time! Perhaps it is the heat, but I am swelling up. Just this morning I have noticed that my hands are swollen. My ankles and feet have been swollen for weeks now so I have gotten used to that. I removed my wedding rings because the pressure was getting to be painful. I can't help but notice that I have little sausages for fingers! Where did my little lady fingers go? Is this natures way of bulking me up for motherhood? Is this water retention? Or is the heat of summer getting to me? I guess time will tell.

It really is strange how one day I will wake up feeling HUGE and the next day I will feel smaller - not so pregnant as the day before. The baby is getting to be so big and its magical. Kicks are getting stronger and much more noticeable. Maybe its wishful thinking on my part but I don't really notice much kicking first thing in the morning....maybe the baby is sleeping in?? Wouldn't that be wonderful!! Keep it up Baby K!!

Trying to keep my hormones in check and stay as calm as I can on a daily basis, I find that I don't "freak out" as much. My husband may disagree with this one. {oh, baby just kicked - Good morning my dear!}. I have noticed though, that when I do loose my cool, its major. I mean I go from 0 to 100 in 2 seconds. I get angry quickly, but not as frequently now. If it is an issue dear to my heart, I will have a mini melt down, send myself to the bedroom, lie on the bed and cry. Seriously? It is silly I know! I can't help it! I don't want to annoy my husband with these hormonal outbreaks {hey, I like that term!} so I find that I just give myself a "time out" and lie on the bed, it will pass - mostly because my husband is the one and only person who can calm me down. Damn how I love that man!

So yeah, with being pregnant/ aka hormonal, working full time - who has time for home renos? Well, I do what I can. Mostly its my husband who is doing all the work. Thank God for him. We did paint the nursery a few days ago. The baseboards, trim and closet are still left - but when it's done she is going to be a beauty! Pics will come! Nothing really to show off yet.

Is it nap time yet?
